Go!Fest 2008 is October 11th - Please check back for details!!!

Mission of Go!Fest:

To encourage young people with disabilities and their families to explore the available services, resources and opportunities that would enable individuals to realize their maximum potential in setting and achieving lifetime goals and personal success in every area of life.

History of Go!Fest

For Chattanooga to be a ‘progressive’ city, it must be accessible for everyone, and that begins with compassion and inclusion. We all have unique gifts and this celebration focuses on unlocking those special, sometimes hidden gifts and talents.

As mayor, my goal is to focus on community inclusion and develop initiatives which serve to make Chattanooga a complete and progressive city for all. Two years ago, we created Go!Fest for just that purpose.

Go!Fest is a festival which celebrates life and everyone’s ability, regardless of physical or mental limitations. I hope you will join me as we celebrate Go!Fest 2008, “Living Life Without Limitations” at the Chattanooga Zoo at Warner Park!”
